Holiday Nail Trends in Toronto: Fall-to-Winter Looks to Book for 2026

Sarang Nails & Beauty · · 5 min read

Looking for holiday-ready nails in Toronto without the December scramble? Book now. The looks taking over our Koreatown salon for late 2026 are molten chrome over deep burgundy, velvet cat-eye in jewel tones, glossy espresso, and a single metallic accent — and the smartest move is booking yours before the holiday rush, when our calendar fills fast. Here's what to request, what it costs, and how to keep it healthy through party season.

Why October is the time to book

Summer nails change on a whim, but the holiday set is one you'll wear for weeks — through parties, gift wrapping, cold commutes, and endless handwashing. That's exactly why we recommend booking in October or early November: it spreads appointments out before the December crunch and gives your cuticles time to recover between sets. A gel manicure lasts two to three weeks, so you land fresh on the day you want to look it.

The four looks being booked for the holidays

  • Molten chrome over burgundy or oxblood — a warm metallic finish that catches party light from every angle (chrome adds $15).
  • Velvet cat-eye in jewel tones like emerald, sapphire, and deep plum — the magnetic finish shifts as you move (+$15).
  • Glossy espresso and mocha — the season's quiet-luxury neutral, lovely on almond Gel-X ($70+) or a $35 shellac.
  • One gold or silver accent nail — restraint is trending; a single metallic detail on a nude base (nail art from $15).

Keep your nails strong through the party circuit

Winter air and dry heating pull moisture out of natural nails, so a little daily care decides whether your set holds up. Massage cuticle oil in morning and night, wear gloves for cold walks and the dishes, and use your nails as hands, not tools. If a nail splits, book a quick repair instead of waiting — it stops the break travelling and protects the rest of your set.

What it costs and what to book

Classic manicure $25, shellac $35, gel pedicure $35–$70 (and it easily goes four-plus weeks on toes), Gel-X full sets from $70, and nail art from $15. For the look of the season we'd book a shellac ($35) in oxblood with a chrome accent (+$15) — budget-friendly, flawless, and built to last through December.
